Time to catch up!

It has been for ever since I had time to make a proper post in here! So much has happened and there are tons of things to post. I was planning to post about each event separately but they just piled up and I think I would never be able to catch up if I do it like that... so instead here's a one giant photo post of nearly all of the (lolita related) events and happenings that I have taken part since last summer.

Animal ear themed meet-up in Tampere

Last summer Elina organized an animal ear themed meet-up and since I hadn't seen the girls from Tampere for a long time I decided to go. It was a pit rainy day but we sat under a huge tree and it was enough to protect us from the rain. :) Actually I went there with my youngest sister who was visiting me at the time so I couldn't stay there that long, however I was really happy to be able to meet everyone again! <3
I don't have a group pic and I'm not sure if the girls want to be featured here so I'm not sharing pics of everyone, just few I know who won't mind it.

I went out of my comfort zone and tried a punk loli outfit with bat wings as my animal ear headpiece.

I took a pair of old combat boots and spray painted them pink with couple cute bats at the side. ^^

Animecon 2012 and Cloudberry Teaparty II

This year animecon was held in Kuopio and my dear friend Yoshh was one of the organizers. Because of her request I modelled at the Enfant terribles lolita fashion show and were one of the panelists at the lolita panel to present the indie brands side. I only were at the convention at the day of the lolita program since on the other day I was super busy arranging the Clouderry teaparty II, it would have totally impossible to make it such a great event without the help of my amazing friends. Thank you all so much for always being there for me! <3

Laura's birthday party and Christmas fairs

Laura held a lolita birthday party with a gambling theme few weeks a go. She's born just few days before Christmas!

The next  day I went to the Ofelia Market, the alternative fashion fair I made a post earlier. The theme was the day of the dead, so I went with a really colourful outfit. :3

Next weekend there was a Christmas fair at Tampere at the Särkänniemi amusement park. I kind of forgot to take photos there but here's my friends selling stand and my outfit on the first day, completely forgot to take pic of the second one. :<

Miittivaroitus!

Ajattelin järjestää piakkoin pienen miitin täällä Hämptonissa, luultavasti 5.5. tai 12.5. Erityisesti haaveilin Hämptonin piilololien (tiedän että olette täällä, emme vain koskaan törmää!) osallistuvan miittiin mutta toki kaikki muutkin ovat tervetulleita. :) Alustavasti suunnittelin kahvilointia (tietenkin) ja käyntiä Palanderin talossa, joka on porvariskodiksi sisustettu kotimuseo, eli arvatenkin mahtava kuavuspaikka. En ole itsekkään päässyt vielä tuolla käymään joten odotan mielenkiinnolla mitä sieltä löytyykään.

Koko viikonloppu miiteissä!

Viime viikko kului koulutöitä tehdessä, sillä sairastuin niin pahasti ennen joulua etten saanut muutamia tehtäviä valmiiksi ajoissa. Sivuaineenani opiskelen tekstiiliä ja painon ja värjäyksen kurssilla oli tehtävänä valmistaa tuote jonka kankaan on värjännyt ja painanut itse. Olin todella typerä ja suunnittelin mekon jonka yläosa olisi tumman sininen ja alaosa luonnonvalkoinen, printtinä yläosan värisiä katulamppuja. Kuulostaa ihan hyvältä vai mitä? Luonnonvalkoinen kuitenkin sattuu olemaan ihan tajuttoman vaikea värjättävä ja melkein jo luovutin sen kanssa koska eräästäkin luonnonvalkoisesta yritelmästä tuli kirkkaan oranssi!

Otsikon mukaisesti koko viime viikonloppu meni sitten miitteillessä ja tietenkin halusin yllämainitun mekon valmiiksi miittiin! :P Perjantaina olin menossa Aristosalle yötä ja pääsin lopulta perille joskus puoli kymmenen aikoihin sillä väänsin mekkoa iltaan asti! Lauantai aaamuna heräsimme kuitenkin hirmu aikaisin laittautumaan vaikka yöunet jäivätkin aika vähäisiksi.  Tamperemiitin ohjelmaan kuului käynti Vapriikki-museolla ja kahvittelua Nostalgiassa. Sunnuntaina osallistuin Lahdessa järjestetyn Desuconin yhteydessä pidettyyn pieneen lolitamiittiin. Päädyin laittamaan uuden mekkoni Lahti miittiin mutta valitettavasti koko asusta ei sitten tullut otettua yhtään kunnollista kuvaa.. no onpahan hyvä syy pukeutua siihen pian uudelleen!

Ai niin, leikkasin ja värjäsin hiukseni tuossa joulun jälkeen, näissä kuvissa näkyykin jo uusi tukka!

 Ensin muutamia kuvia Ladyn tyyli nimisestä näyttelystä jota kävimme katsomassa Tampere miitissä.

Varsinaisen miitti asuni piti olla Gremestä ostamani takki, mutta toppauduin niin hyvin etten pystynytkään olemaan sisätiloissa se päällä. :P Joten varsinaisesta asustani ei sitten olekaan yhtään kuvaa.

 Seuraavaksi hieman kuvia Lahdessa olleesta desucon miitistä. Päädyimme käymään Cafe Karirannassa joka olikin aivan ihastuttavan tunnelmallinen. <3

Harmiksemme emme saaneet isoa pöytää johon kaikki olisivat mahtuneet joten jouduimme hieman jakaantumaan.

Last week I was trying to make some school assingments, one of them was to dye and print a product which in my case was a lolita dress! I decided to dye the bottom part of the dress off white which was total pain in the rufflebut, but finally I manged to make something that reminds white. I also threw a pair of stocking in the blue dying bot to get matching stockings!

I was in a hurry to finish my dress since I wanted to wear it at a meetup on Sunday and I also went to a meetup on Saturday too!
Saturday we went to see an exhibition called Lady's style at Vapriikki Museum, which was really nice for a change and I enjoyed the exhibition a lot. Sunday morning I went to Lahti though I was really tired from last day. Anyway it was great to meet some old and new friends. The meetup itself was a bit short but luckily Mimi invited us to her place to have some tea.. so I didn't have to drive all the way to Lahti just for couple hours. :D
By the way, I changed my haircolour and got a new haiur cut! I'm really loving it!
